Playday Rules

1. You must be a member of the WRRC playday member to qualify for the year end awards. Your age as of January 1, 2010 will determine the category that you will compete in throughout the playday season.
2. Participants in the lead line age group will not qualify for the All-Around High Point Award due to the pattern not being the same size as the other participants.
3. Lead Line contestants must be lead.
4. Your name will be called three times for your event, and then you will forfeit your run on that event with no refund of entry fees.
5. You must attend 3 of the 6 playdays to qualify for the year-end awards. There is a guarantee of 4 playdays; weather permitting all 6 playday will take place.
The All-Around award is given to the person who has run the best times at the playdays.
It does not necessarily go to the person with the highest cumulative points among the various age groups and there will be two sets of books kept. The first set of books by the age group counting all of the playday participants and another set of books that include all participants that run the same patterns for the All-Around Award.
6. In the event the person winning the All-Around has not been to 3 playdays, the All-Around Award will go to the second leading overall point holder and so on.
7. You do not have to ride the same horse in each event to qualify for an award, however if you ride two horses in the same event, you must designate which run counts for the points before you make the run.
8. No one will be allowed to ride up in an age group and if you break the pattern, this will result in a no time.
9. Jeans/riding pants and riding shoes are required to be worn by all playday participants.
10. Proof of negative coggins is required.
Playday Points Schedule
1st Place = 50 Points
2nd Place = 40 Points
3rd Place = 30 Points
4th Place = 20 Points
5th Place = 10 Points
Participation or no time = 5 Points
You must be a paid member before points will start accumulating. You can be a club member or playday member.
To be a playday member only, there is a $10.00 fee per participant. This is required for someone that runs 1 event of all 4 events.
To be a WRRC member, there is a $25.00 per family yearly fee. By choosing this membership you are agreeing to be an active part of this club. Once you are a club member you are then entitled to the club house at members cost, the arena for practicing, etc.
